March 30, 2010 (Lewistown, PA) – The Lewistown Hospital School of Nursing recently received accreditation from the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
The NLNAC and its predecessor, the National League for Nursing, have stood for standards of excellence for all types of nursing education for over 50 years. By choosing to be accredited by NLNAC, the school and its faculty have demonstrated their commitment to the highest standards of nursing education. The school's successful accreditation shows that the school does indeed meet these high standards.
NLNAC granted full approval with special recognition of strengths related to the school’s community partnerships and support.
